Using the traditional techniques of hand embroidery I have recreated discarded fringe tickets that I have found in an attempt to imbue the objects with their lost value. These tickets live a limited life, only valued until their expiration date and then discarded. By showing these works on a light box that is connected to the bike my concept it to reactivate the value in the works through the audience participation. The same audience who would purchase, use and discard these tickets has now lit up the works, drawing them closer to discovering that they are not discarded tickets at all, but laboriously hand embroidered artworks.
